How did my child become a junk food junkie? HMMMM?!?!?!?! It couldn't be that she sees her mommy eating junk food, could it? Just kidding. Yes, we have noticed that she would rather eat the Doritos instead of the sandwich and that McD's is much more appealing than a home cooked meal. So now I really have to pay attention to what we eat. And make sure that Greenbean has healthier choices than what she's been eating the last few days. And, of course, this has forced me to look at what I've been eating. Being in the last few weeks of pregnancy, I really have had no desire to eat healthy and as a result, Greenbean isn't exactly eating the best either although she is eating a lot better than I am!!
Speaking of Greenbean, I'm seriously thinking of us taking a sign language class type of thing to help with her vocabulary. She isn't speaking very many words at all, maybe 2 or 3. And it's the same 2 or 3 she's been saying for the past 4 months. Since we're going in for her 18 month check up next month, I just know her pediatrician is going to send us to a specialist for speech development. And I really don't have the energy to be doing that with a baby due at the end of Jan. Not saying that I wouldn't take her but you get the idea. I have recieved some very good suggestions in helping her. Parenting is a lot of work!!
Alright, I've got to go. Greenbean is showing me her shoes, an indication that she wants to go bye bye to see Grandma!!!
