Alright. First paper for english is done. Actually, it isn't really a paper but it's the first actual paper that's worth anything for our grade in the class. My english class is pretty interesting and is more of a liberal arts class then an english one. You'd expect to read poetry and essays and other things of that sort. But this one is focusing on education in today's society. So. Without further ado, let us introduce a very loud class with many opinions of the varying degrees of Hispanic dropouts compared to other races, and the treatment of teachers and their wages.
The other day we talked of how mad parents get at the schools and teachers when they figure out their 11th grade child can't read past a 3rd grade level. When in actual reality, parents should be noticing such things about their own child. Is it really fair to put all the blame on the teachers and the schools? Teachers can only do so much. Parents must do their part at home to make sure their child understands and is learning what is being taught at school.

Anyhow, enough about that. I just get upset when stupid parents get upset when they are totally unawares of how their child is progressing in school.
I just wanted to write in here about my english class and let off some steam. :)
Had an ultra sound done at the ER on Friday night. Baby is fine, and still too tiny to tell if the baby is a he or a she. I can't wait till Greenbean is big enough to tell. :)
